How to catch Uxie Mesprit and Azef in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum versions

DESCRIPTION OF THE POKEMON AND WHERE THEY LIVE:
UXIE , AZEF AND MESPRIT

In this foto the Pokemon with the yellow head is Uxie, the blue one is Azef and the pink one in the middle is Mesprit.
Note that these three Pokemon cannot be caught in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. If you want them you must trade them at the GTS center.



WHERE THEY LIVE

These Pokemon are the three Pokemon of the lakes: Uxie from Lake Acuity near Snow Point City, Azef from Lake Valor between Veilstone City and Sunny Stone City, and Mesprit from Lake Verity, near Twinleaf City. They can all be found in these caves on islands in the middle of each lake. You can only catch them after you have caught either Dialga if it is Pokemon Diamond, Palkia if it is Pokemon Pearl or Giratina if it is Pokemon Platinum.

HOW TO CATCH UXIE!

To get Uxie you must go to Lake Acuity, so first you can fly to Snow Point City and walk from there to the lake, it really isn't that far...

When you get there just go on the water using the TM attack surf and in the middle of the lake there will be a little island, on the island there will be a little cave. Enter it and then you will see a Pokemon namd Uxie. Just like the picture above. Go up to it and click on it and you will go into battle with the legendry Pokemon Uxie! I recommend you catch Uxie before any of the other three legendary Pokemon because Uxie has attacks like amnesia that are useful for catching Azef which I recommend that you catch after you have gotten Uxie . To catch Uxie, if you dont' have a master ball, i recommend that you use a dusk ball because it is a Pokemon in a cave and dusk balls are very efficient!!! You might have a hard time catching it but keep trying. If dusk balls don't work you can also try using a ultra ball.

HOW TO CATCH AZEF!

To get Azef you must go to Lake Vallor inbetween Velistone City and Sunnystone City. Just like Uxie go on the water by using surf. In the middle of the island there will be a cave. Go into that cave and you will see a Pokemon named Azef , and it looks like the pokemon in the picture on the right.

I recommend you put Uxie in your team of pokemon. Uxie will help you catch Azef. How?

Well, when you walk up to Azef and click on him and go into battle with it, you must first get it down to the red zone but be careful that some of your Pokemon don't kill it...

Once you have gotten it to the red zone, heres where Uxie comes in!

You can use Uxies' yawn attack that will put it to sleep!

Then you can just throw a dusk ball or an ultra ball at it and you will be able to catch it in just a few tries. So catch Uxie first , it makes it so much easier to catch Azef!

I remember one time where i used 27 ultra balls on it and it still wasn't caught! So I was forced to use my master ball to get it!

And to think it isn't even a high level Pokemon-- it is only level 50!

HOW TO CATCH MESPRIT!

To get to Mesprit you must go to Varety Lake front near Twinleaf City.

Now you just go through the water using surf and in the middle there will be a little cave where there will be Mesprit. So just go up to Mesprit--but it will dissapear!!

Now Mesprit will be disapering and reapearing all over the region just like Cresselia. To track Mesprit down you must get this special poke app that will tell you were Cresselia is on the map. If you want to know how to get this app you can look at the post about geting Cresselia.

Well to catch Mesprit you can use a quick ball like Cresselia. In fact the quick ball is much more efficent on Mesprit then on Cresselia , and you can also use a master ball but i think it is better to use the master ball on Cresselia.

how to get darkrai in pokemon damond/pearl

To get Darkrai you must first get this special gift which is a wooden key that you can use to unlock this key to unlock You might have noticed that house in Canaleve city that you tried to go in but it always said that the door was impossible to unlock. Well, that's the place you have to go!

When you enter the house you will encounter this old man that will tell you to go to bed. When you go to bed you will appear on New Moon Island. There will be a entrance that leads into this little place in the middle of the forest. There will be Darkrai!



I recommend you save before catching him , when you are ready walk up to Darkrai and click on him and you will go into battle with it!



'To catch Darkrai isn't that hard, you can always try catching it with a master ball, but I can also recommend using dusk balls and ultra balls.



Well, after you have gotten it you will go out of your dream and outside the house there will be the sailor.

How to catch Cresselia in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum

To catch Cresselia in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum you must first go to

Canalave City.

You know that sailor that takes you to Iron Island? There is a house near him. Well that is his house. You must go in there and there will be a boy in bed that is having bad dreams because of Darkrai. So you go outside and talk to the sailor and he will bring you to Full moon Island to get the lunar wing which will help the boy have good dreams.

So you hop on the boat and you will go to Full Moon Island.

There you just have to go into the little entrance to the forest and you just go in there and click on Cresselia. Then Cresselia will disappear but it will leave behind the lunar wing! So you go to the sailor that will bring you back to Canalave City where you must go back into that house and give the lunar wing to the boy.

Most of you must be wondering what happened to Cresselia. Well, she will be disappearing and reappearing all around the region so if you want to catch her you must track her down to do this you must get this poke app that will tell you where Cresselia is. To get this poke app you must go to this man in Jubilee City that is in the poketech company building.

After that you will see a picture of a Pokemon on the map on your poketech.

Where the little Pokemon's picture is on the map is where Cresselia is in the region. Remember that Cresselia disappears and reappears somewhere else every time you switch towns, so you can't fly to the place you see it at. You must keep switching cities until Cresselia is in the same city you are in.

Once it is in the same city you must put a repel on and enter the grass and you will encounter a Pokemon and that Pokemon in the grass will be Cresselia. Well now that you have found Cresselia you can catch it, but it is very hard, first thing is because you can't attack! The only thing you can do is launch a pokeball.

Now, this is a Pokemon I recommend to catch with a master ball because if you launch a regular pokeball at it and Cresselia frees herself, she will run a way and you must track Cresselia down again!

If you really don't' want to use a master ball or you already used the master ball another Pokeball I can recommend is the Quick Ball. It is used to cath the Pokemon on the first try, but it isn't as efficient as the Master Ball.

How to get Giratina in Pokemon Platinum and Diamond and Pearl

To catch Giratina in Pokemon Platinum you must go up to the spira pillar, the same place where you caught Dialga and Palkia in the Diamond and Pearl versions.

Once you get up there you must first battle agents, the two Team Galaxy goons helped by your rival. After that Giratina will then appear out over the Rivers World portal.
Then you will go into the portal with Camiglia. There you will encounter uxie azef and mesprit.

To go through to Giratina is pretty hard but I will re-post a youtube video on how to do it. At this point you are almost at the end where you must battle against the head of Team Galaxy . I must say that it is very hard to beat him, especially if you have grass type pokemon because he has his houndoom, which is a pretty strong fire type pokemon. Well when you have beaten Team Galaxy you are ready to catch Giratina, so you just walk up to Giratina and click on it and you will go into battle with Giratina!

To catch Giratina you could use you master ball because it is pretty hard to catch , but you could always try to catch it with a ultra ball. But be careful that your Pokemon doesn't die because Giratina can inflict some serious damage to your Pokemon. But I can give you a tip: Giratina's weakness is the magic type attacks that should get Giratina down to the red zone, or if it is a critical hit you might end up making Giratina go out of battle, so if you are using magic type attacks I recommend that you save the game.

So after you have got Giratina you will go out of the inverse world and you will appear by a little cave near Route 214 that leads to Sunny Shore City.

HOW TO GET GIRATINA IN POKEMON DIAMOND/PEARL

Well that's how you get Giratina in Pokemon Platinum. Now to get Giratina in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl you must go to this little cave that will appear only after you have gotten a national dex.

So you go into that cave which is at Route 214 near Sunny Stone City. In the cave there is lots of fog, so I recommend that you bring a Pokemon that has the TM attack defog. In the cave there are lots of Pokemon like Hunters. They are not particularly low level pokemon, but I still recommend that you use super repels.

To get to Giratina you also need a Pokemon that has the TM attack rock smash so you can get through the different cave entrances. Well to find Giratina you must go through the different cave entrances until you find the one where there is Giratina. Sometimes it can take a few minutes, sometimes it can take hours, depending on which cave entrances you choose. So when you finaly find Giratina it will be in the form like the picture on the right.

So I recommend you save the game before you catch Giratina. Well when you are ready, walk up to Giratina and click on it and you will go into battle with Giratina.

Now to catch Giratina in Pokemon Pearl and Diamond is way harder then in Pokemon Platinum because in Pokemon Platinum Giratina is only at level 45 instead in Pokemon Pearl and Diamond it is at level 70. And it has lots of different attacks like geoforce etc, so you could use your master ball if you still have it, if not you can use dusk balls but you must get it down to the red zone.

If you want to get it down to the red zone at the first hit you can use Dialgas' roar of time attack, but be careful that you don't make Giratina go out of battle and thats why I always recommend to save.

How to find Palkia in Pokemon Pearl

To find Palkia in Pokemon Pearl you must go to the spira pillar just like on Pokemon Diamond and Platinum versions.

Once you are at the spira pillar you must first battle against the two Team Galassia guns. Berry, your rival, will help you beat them. After that you must battle against the head of the Team Galassia. Berry will revive your pokemon's energy.

The head of Team Galassia has lots of high level pokemon like crobat, wavelive etc. Well I have to say the he is pretty hard to beat, but after you have beaten him, Team Galassia will dissapear. Professor Roman will come up and tell you that you must capture the legendery Pokemon Palkia.

So you just go up to Palkia and click on it; then you will go into battle with it.

To catch it I recomend NOT to use you master ball because it is so easy to catch that you probably don't even have to get it down to the red zone. So I recommend you use an ultra ball, or if you are really up for the challange you could try catching it with a simple pokeball!

Or you could wait till it is night time so you can catch it with a dusk ball.

How to get Dialga in Pokemond Diamond

To get Dialga in Pokemon you must go up to the spira pillar which is this little spiritual place on top of Mount Coronet. Before going up to the spira pillar I recommend you get lots of super repels because there are a lot of annoying low level Pokemon. You should also go buy some super potions because there are lots of team galassia goons that want to battle with you.

Well once you have found your way up, you will first have to battle with two team galassia generals. Berry will help you win the battle.
After that, you must battle against the head of team galassia, he has pretty high level Pokemon, like in the level 40's. After you have finished him off team galassia will dissapear.

Professer Roman will come up and tell you that you must catch the legendary Pokemon Dialga. So you just have to click on it and you will go into battle with it. To catch Dialga I recommend you do NOT use your master ball because it is so easy to catch, even easier to catch than Palkia in Pokemon Pearl. so you can just catch it with a regular ultra ball.

The strongest attack of Dialga is "roar of time". It is rare that it will use it in battle, but if it does, be prepared because it is a magic type, which means it will be efficient on most type Pokemon.

How to get Lugia in pokemon soul silver.

To find Lugia you must go to the whirlpool island. It is this cave off the coast of Cianwood City in the Johto rRegion.

So once you have gotten there, enter the cave. The first part of the cave is dark so I recommend you bring a pokemon that has Flash.

Once you have gone through the whole cave there are also two cave entrences. Go into the entrence below.

Once you are there, there will be the Chinese girls that will perform a ritual that will summon Lugia. Lugia will come out of the big waterfall and fly onto the water. Then you will be able to catch it. So just go up to it by using Surf to go onto the water and click on it and then you will go into a battle with Lugia.

To catch Lugia, if you really want to, you can use the master ball because I think Lugia is harder to catch than HO OH in pokemon heart gold , but if you want you can always try to catch it with an ultra ball.

It is hard to get Lugia to the red zone so i recommend to use your strongest pokemon that withstand attacks because Lugia has a few strong attacks like arial blast that is efficient on almost all pokemon, so i recommend you buy lots of super potions before going to catch Lugia.

how to get HO HO in pokemon heart gold

After you have beaten the Chinese girls in a battle, they will tell you to go up to the bell tower in Ecruteak city.
You must find your way up there. I can't really explain the whole path to you now, but once you get up on top of the bell tower the Chinese girls will be there and they will perform a sort of ritual that will summon HO OH from the sky. He will fly in front of you and you just click on HO OH and you will go into battle with him.

To catch HO OH you can use the master ball that Professer Oak gave you, but I have to say it is only level 45. You could easily catch it with a simple ultra ball, so just use master ball if you're having a lot of trouble catching it.
HO OHs attacks are pretty good. He has Magic Fire, Fire Blast and others I don't remember. He does learn Extra Sense later on. If you still don't have a good pokemon that has the MT attack fly, HO OH, in my opinion, is the best pokemon for the job. Well, that's all for this post. Bye.
